Szydłowiec District Heating Plant, Poland
Generating electricity and heat
The new gas engine, installed and delivered as a container solution by TEDOM a.s., uses cogeneration to generate electricity and heat for the public grid.
Thanks to online monitoring of the boiler house, the CHP plant can be conveniently controlled remotely by the operator and can cooperate with other energy sources in the area for optimized consumption in order to reduce the overall environmental impact.
Since the commissioning it has been running continually, reducing carbon emissions by more than 6,000 tons per year.
