Cost Efficient Power Production for Gold Processing Plant
MWM distributor MKS Group of Companies has commissioned a locally designed, produced, and supplied modular power plant (MPP) based on four TCG 2032B V16 gensets with a total electrical output of 18 MW for a nearby mining facility, the Svetlinskaya gold processing plant (UGK JSC) in the Plastovsky district of the Chelyabinsk region.
Two-story modules allow free access to all the elements of the gas genset, both outside and inside. In addition, MKS specialists equipped the facility with custom ventilation and heating systems. Since the go-live of the power plant, the customer’s electricity costs have undergone a threefold drop.
