Independent Power and Heat with MWM Gas Engines
At a brick factory in the Belgorod Region of Russia, five MWM TCG 2020 V16 K gas engines ensure a reliable energy supply with a total output of 7.5 MW of electricity and 7.5 MW of thermal energy. Commissioned in 2016, the containerized combined heat and power plant (CHP) includes a heat recovery system and operates entirely in island mode. Therefore, the power plant functions independently from the public grid and is supported by a 1.5 MW diesel genset.
