MWM Gas Engines Provide Hot Water for Apartments, Schools, Kindergartens and Hospitals
Iltekno, an authorized solutions provider in Uzbekistan, has supplied, installed and commissioned a cogeneration plant consisting of two MWM gas gensets, two natural gas boilers with an output of 12.5 MW along with the accessories required for running the cogeneration system.
Heat is recovered both from the engine jacket water and from the exhaust system with a heat exchanger with a total capacity of 4.5 MW as well as peak boilers which provide hot water to 3,105 apartments in 50 multistory blocks, two schools, three kindergartens, and two hospitals for heating and usage purposes.
